The message was in the HTML of the site itself and the site content above was not served by Netlify. We served zero requests for this domain name at that time. It’s really a simple issue here because Chrome is usually blocking iFrame and that’s the main reason you’re getting the error. I checked the logs for our service for all of October 24th through and including October 26th. It is a snapshot of the page as it appeared on 03:55:49 GMT. This is what the site contained at that time.Īt what time, you ask? Quoting that page: Google is quoting the website - not punishing it. This is why Google says this - it is a quote from the HTML itself “Your browser does not support frames”. This is the “view source” version of the content that Google cached: At some point in the future support for frames will be dropped by modern web browsers, and when that happens websites build with frames will become unusable. One can see what Google saw by viewing the cached version of the page for that search result: You are the person telling Netlify what to inject - so the frame in that case must be your creation. Not unless you have a frame in a snippet you inject and, if this is the case, you are adding the frame - not Netlify. Neither of those will create a frame in your HTML though. There are two exceptions: snippet injection and asset optimization. Second, we don’t modify the files hosted on our services. Even the newer versions of Oracle’s JDK does not come with the support of the Java browser plugin. Google Chrome Firefox Safari Microsoft Edge Opera So, as you can see that all these browsers not longer support Applet. Netlify does not modify site content (with some small exceptions noted below).įirst, I’m not aware of any possible ways for DNS records to affect or modify the contents of an HTML file served by Netlify. Here are browsers that do not support Java Applet any more.Frames are only defined in HTML files not in DNS records. But for some reason in Chrome it creates a bunch of frameset tags and gives me this sentence in the html: Your browser does not support frames.
